Cause: 
Unaligned ftruncate on the file which is undergoing heal could read from bricks with bad data leading to corruption of that block.
Consequence: 
Data of the file will be corrupted.
Fix: 
Prevent the read to happen on bricks with bad data at all times.
Result: 
Data of the file won't be corrupted.
