We encountered the a gluster brick crash during a security scan using Rapid 7
Nexpose. We're on GlusterFS 6.5 and I've attached the log to my previous
comment. The Rapid 7 scanner uses nmap and by default, I believe that a TCP SYN
scan is performed. I will check with our Security folks and run a controlled
test using both TCP SYN and TCP Connect (which I think Calvin referred to)
scans and let you know the results.
