To keep things going, I've added a script to detect failure and remount the
volume. It seems that when a mount crashes, it also crashes on other clients:

My scripts runs every 5 minutes, and this is what it logs:

Dec 30 16:05:01 HOST-1 logger: Forcing remount of jf-vol0
Dec 31 00:15:06 HOST-2 logger: Forcing remount of jf-vol0
Dec 31 00:20:06 HOST-1 logger: Forcing remount of jf-vol0
Dec 31 00:20:06 HOST-2 logger: Forcing remount of jf-vol0
Dec 31 00:20:07 HOST-4 logger: Forcing remount of jf-vol0
Dec 31 00:25:01 HOST-1 logger: Forcing remount of jf-vol0

So it looks to me like this is caused by something in the volume or
cluster-communication. Not just something local to the client.
