Same issue with 3.12.12 on with gluster's xenial PPA.
Clients used by k8s will, for a single mount, consume 5-6GB and eventually kill
the machine.

Is this bug fixed since 3.12?
ie: If we upgrade to 4.1, would it resolve the issue?
