At fact, in our test environment, the configure file do corrupt in 2 times this
year, It maybe cause by reboot the GlusterFS HOST or Hardware power off.
and I found a likely case mentioned in community:

>From my investigation, the file will be corrupted because in our test
environment, the configuration file is stored in ext4 files system, and it is
not a real time file system, when the file operation is doing while reboot or
power off without umount safety sone, the corruption maybe happen.

and when this corruption happen, we hope glusterd still can work.
