--- Doc Text *updated* ---
When a file operation on an AFR subvolume triggered an inode refresh and subsequent heal, the file operation would occur only after the heal completed, so the issuing client needed to wait. This update ensures that heal operations occur in the background so that file operations can be served immediately. The parameters that control this new behavior are cluster.background-self-heal-count and cluster.heal-wait-queue-length. See the Red Hat Gluster Storage 3.1 Administration Guide for more information.
