The other message I get is:

virDomainObjGetMetadata:16665 : metadata not found: Requested metadata element
is not present

Sometimes stopping gluster volume + restarting gluster volume + resuming the VM
works, and sometimes not.
In this case, shutting down the VM is the only way to bring it up again.
