[Gluster-users] How to achieve linear performance as adding nodes to gluster cluster (distributed replica volume)?

Hi,
I have tested 3 kinds of distributed replica volume: 4 * 2, 3* 2 and 2*2. I
suppose 4 * 2 should achieve the best IOPS, however, their performance
seems similar.
I have tested with "*dd if=/dev/zero of=/mnt/glusterfs/block8 bs=128M
count=1*" and "*dd if=/dev/zero of=/mnt/glusterfs/block8 bs=32M count=8*".
All bricks are on virtual machines, with same hardware: 2 cores cpu, 8G
memory.
The following is my volume configuration:

I wonder how can I achieve linear performance improvements? Have I tested
in the wrong way?
