I have 10, not 2.  They are set up as 5 pairs of 2 (replica 2).  I want to avoid (eliminate) split brain.  I read http://www.gluster.org/community/documentation/index.php/Features/Server-quorum (and other things) and it sounds useful to avoid split brain.
