... just wondering: Why don't we run a kickstarter/indiegogo campaign to
finance people to write (from scratch?) documentation?

There are various good examples of GREAT documentation for various
projects and given that glusterfs is an evolving software that becomes
more popular, it could be a way to improve documentation and thus
experience with glusterfs.
