I'm trying to replace a gluster node but gluster is being very
uncooperative.

# gluster volume replace-brick gluster-rhev kari.om.net:/gluster_brick_1
cygni.om.net:/gluster_brick_1 start force
volume replace-brick: failed: geo-replication sessions are active for
the volume gluster-rhev.
Stop geo-replication sessions involved in this volume. Use 'volume
geo-replication status' command for more info.

# gluster volume geo-replication status

MASTER NODE MASTER VOL MASTER BRICK
SLAVE STATUS CHECKPOINT STATUS CRAWL STATUS
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
rigel.om.net    gluster-rhev    /gluster_brick_1
nix.om.net::gluster-backup-1    Stopped    N/A N/A
kari.om.net     gluster-rhev    /gluster_brick_1
nix.om.net::gluster-backup-1    Stopped    N/A N/A

There are no gluster related processes running on the geo-replica
server. There are no gluster or rsync processes related to
geo-replication running on any of the relevant servers.

Any suggestions (other than to shut it all down)?

regards,
John
