[Gluster-users] Request for feedback on staging.gluster.org

Great to hear that you guys are liking it. To be clear, the work on the site design was actually done by two members of the Red Hat OSAS (Open Source and Standards) team, Tuomas Kuosmanen and Garrett LeSage who do a lot of work for projects (their work shows up in other notable places like the RDO website, oVirt, CentOS and others). My work has mostly been the manual squirrel herding to convert the existing site into the new framework.

As far as having forum type functions, no there is no plan for that at this time. We had tried a similar Q and A forum before that did not work out mainly due to management headaches IIRC. Keep in mind that the framework for the site is Middleman, which essentially generates static content so it is not natively built to do dynamic pages that would be required for a forum style. Plugins for functionality like that may exist for Middleman but we haven't looked into it.

Things are still very much in beta (a few pages not displaying properly or at all, etc), but we decided to roll things out so that we can get a list of improvements (and hopefully help from) the community. If you would like to test the most recent changes on your own machine, you can do the following:
