[Gluster-users] volume start causes glusterd to core dump in 3.5.0

If this is the case, how would I work around the crypto libs?

From this backtrace, it seems like the problem is with the libcrypto which is provided by openssl-libs. Most likely the glusterfs packages were linked with a different version of libcrypto when they were built, which isn't compatible with what has been provided in you system.
