[Gluster-users] Hadoop version dependency

Hello folks,

I'm trying to make Hadoop 1.0.3 which is the latest version and
Gluster 3.3 work together.

But it seems to fail at every glusterFS initialization like follows

kdsoo at mcore-virt1:/usr/share/hadoop$ hadoop jar
hadoop-examples-1.0.3.jar pi 6 10000
Number of Maps = 6
Samples per Map = 10000
Initializing GlusterFS
Failed to initialize GlusterFS

I configured hadoop and gluster according to the GlusterFS 3.3 manual.

But the only thing different is Hadoop version. Manual requires Hadoop
0.20.. but I took Hadoop 1.0.3

Does version matters? No support over Hadoop 0.20 ?

Cheers,
