   We haven't tried this yet, but you might be able to use Stunnel for 
this (for over-the-wire encryption).  Would require using the tcp stack 
though.  Our customers haven't asked for it yet, so we haven't given it 
any attention.  I don't know if AB and team are thinking of it.
