[Gluster-users] Writing files to back-end directory

Hi.

Sorry for possibly silly question, but is there any benefit of writing
directly to back-end directory?

I tried writing some files to it, and noticed that they sometimes (not
always) appeared in other servers mounts as well.

Or the mount point is the must destination?
