[Gluster-users] design document ?

Hi all,

   Is there a design overview document for glusterfs? I've been trying to
find one on the  gluster.com website and on google
but all I'm seeing are FAQ's and piecemeal information and lots of
buzzword-filled statements.

To clarify what I mean, here are some examples of   file system design
overview documents:
