for the purpose of self-heal, operations that modiefies directory (rm, touch
etc) are stored as extended attributes on the directory. And checking for
pending operations can be done only when lookup happens on the directory
itself (not on directory contents). Note that self-heal is triggered on the
parent directory not on the file itself.
