Yeah.  MariaDB is a decent choice for this. :)

When I was looking at this ages ago, there are notes online from people who have
migrated from H2 to MySQL (and/or PostgreSQL too?).  Seems to be something that
is "known to work", but it's not completely easy.

It might take us a few attempts at doing the database conversion, before we
get it completely ok. ;)

That's why we have backups now. :D
