Very nice.  Definitely a step or three in the right direction.  Two
quibbles...

(1) I'd like to retain a top-level link to information about mailing lists,
IRC channels, etc.  Right now it's "Community"; in your mockup it's missing.
Maybe "Contact Us" or something?

(2) "Gluster Showcase" followed by a list of bugs doesn't seem quite right.
Maybe "Construction Zone"?
