[Gluster-devel] master master afr require unify?

Can I have:

Server 1
volume nyc

Server 2
volume sjc

Client (same on 1 and 2)
volume mirror
   subvolumes nyc sjc

If I do the above I want to add self heal, but it looks like the only way 
to do that is to build volume and afr on each and then unify them together 
such as: http://www.gluster.org/docs/index.php/Understanding_AFR_Translator

Is that correct?
