Bug ID: 1501132
Summary: posix health check should validate time taken between
write timestamp and read timestamp cycle
Product: GlusterFS
Version: mainline
Component: posix
Assignee: bugs at gluster.org
Reporter: mchangir at redhat.com
CC: bugs at gluster.org, moagrawa at redhat.com
Description of problem:
If gluster process or file-system back-end locks up in the kernel, then gluster
posix health check does not get to know the overall health of the system.
Expected results:
posix health check should identify issues with back-end file-system and also
watch for the latency between the write-timestamp/read-timestamp cycle.
