I tried the same scenario with "--enable-debug" flag OFF to not to throw any
assert.

I added bricks and started re-balance. The re-balance "completed" without fail
and any crash.
I confirmed that files and links were migrated to newly added bricks too. 

I also tried rename of 100 files from mount point and did not see any core.

I think this bug does not cause a functionality break for now.

This bug needs to be fixed in dht.
