With this fix, I'm able to run 'ls' on a directory of 1 million entries (it
takes 1:20 - 2:00 minutes to run) while simultaneously operating on the
directory (create/read/write/delete) from another client with no noticeable
latency.

I had my dircache limit set to 100,000 for this test.  Default is ~1/2 million.
