If it's not ready yet, why does the "LATEST" symlink point to a repository that
isn't functional?

http://download.gluster.org/pub/gluster/glusterfs/LATEST/

Pehraps next time a release of a new version should be delayed until it is 100%
ready to avoid all this confusion.
