I two separate instances of gluster running and results are the same.

[root at gfs ~]# gluster volume create gdump replica 2 gfs:/zfs/dump/
gfs2:/zfs/dump/
volume create: gdump: failed: Glusterfs is not supported on brick:
gfs:/zfs/dump.
Setting extended attributes failed, reason: Operation not supported.
