Very interesting.  Thanks Christopher.  I'm an onsite consultant doing PoC and
we're seeing the same issue here.  Using 3 replicas with default quorum ratio
renders our volume read-only during a test kill of 2 bricks (by design).  We're
debating adjusting quorum ratio manually to allow a single replica to be
considered quorate for read/write.  Storage is fairly stable RAID6 with hot
spare, and customer is aware that a single brick in rw mode will not be
considered unsafe with no replication.

Looking forward to your fix in 3.6A.
