[heketi-devel] Why do we need Register/DeRegister functions?

Hi Luis,

Nodes and Devices are stored in db in more than one format. Once they
are stored under ID as Key. They are also stored in db using
Register() operations where the key is "DEVICE+NODEID+DEVICENAME" or
"MANAGE+hostip/name" or "STORAGE+hostip/name".

I don't see any place where such registrations are referenced again,
what is the idea behind this?
