chmod 700 /data<br>
Or have I missed something?</p>
<p dir="ltr">Obviously root could still access /data, but unprivileged users would no longer have access to there.</p>

I don't need (and don't want) data to be created from backend, and<br>
this is because I asked how I can avoid this.<br>
