</div>There's no firewall on this machine but that gave me the idea to connect<br>
on port 24007 with telnet. This got me:<br>

root@titane:~# telnet localhost 24007<br>
Trying 27.0.0.1...<br>
<br>
and I realized that was a typo in /etc/hosts. I added the missing '1' and<br>
the command now works.<br>
