[Gluster-users] Geo-replication not completing sync of changelogs after upgrade

Hello,

I've seen other posts about this with no apparent remedy.

I upgraded from 5.13 to 7.9 and restarted geo-replication. Replication seems to work fine but I'm seeing errors about "imcomplete sync, retrying changelogs"

geo rep status is always changelog_crawl.

The /var/log/glusterfs/geo-replication/[voldir]/gsyncd log on the master node is filling up with this:

[2021-04-01 20:13:03.26068] W [master(worker /files2/express2/gluster_vol01-1):1393:process] _GMaster: incomplete sync, retrying changelogs files=['CHANGELOG.1617307816', 'CHANGELOG.1617307846', 'CHANGELOG.1617307861', 'CHANGELOG.1617307876', 'CHANGELOG.1617307906']

Any help or pointers? There was an issue about it on gitub -> https://github.com/gluster/glusterfs/issues/914 but it was closed with no solution after inactivity.
