The issue got fixed by https://review.gluster.org/#/c/14820 and is 
already available in 3.8 branch

Here you have mounted the volume via glusterfs fuse mount and deleted 
those files
right(not directly from the bricks)?
Can you restart nfs-ganesha server and see what happens ?
What type of volume are you using?
