[Gluster-users] Machine becomes its own peer

Yes, when you reintroduce a machine with the same hostname, you need to insure the uuid in /var/lib/glusterd/glusterd.info is the same as before. Your mounted brick does not hold this information.

As you have seen, you can get the uuid for a lost glusterd.info from another peer's peer files.
