[Gluster-users] question about remove-brick force

Hi,
When I run the command "gluster volume remove-brick gv0 replica 1 128.224.162.255:/data/brick/gv1 force" , it reture failed.


my question:
1.what is the different between  runing "gluster volume remove-brick gv0 replica 1 128.224.162.255:/data/brick/gv1" and  "gluster volume remove-brick gv0 replica 1 128.224.162.255:/data/brick/gv1 force"?what the "force" means when "remove a brick"?
