[Gluster-users] running du on the underlying brick

Hi,

I need to provide a detailed report of disk usage on the gluster partition
to show which user takes how much space. It's a distributed replicated
setup (replica factor 2).

Running du takes hours but doing du on the underlying brick directories is
much faster. Is that a sane strategy or is there a reason NOT to do it?

Naturally the output of du will need to be post-processed to combine the
usage info from each pair, but that's relatively easy.
