Found it, my bad. I repurposed the Katello repo and switched it to the 
centos storage SIG. But this repo 
(http://mirror.centos.org/centos/7/storage/x86_64/gluster-3.6/) is still 
on " glusterfs 3.6.6.

Previously, I synced newer packages from the glusterfs repo sot things 
got messed up.
