Hi Atin,

On Ubuntu 14.04

arjun at arjun-desktop:~/Downloads$ *sudo dpkg -i
glusterfs-client_3.7.6-ubuntu1~trusty1_i386.deb *

Preparing to unpack glusterfs-client_3.7.6-ubuntu1~trusty1_i386.deb ...
Unpacking glusterfs-client (3.7.6-ubuntu1~trusty1) over (3.4.2-1ubuntu1) ...
dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of glusterfs-client:
 glusterfs-client depends on glusterfs-common (>= 3.7.6-ubuntu1~trusty1);
however:
  Version of glusterfs-common on system is 3.4.2-1ubuntu1.

dpkg: error processing package glusterfs-client (--install):

Processing triggers for ureadahead (0.100.0-16) ...
Errors were encountered while processing:

arjun at arjun-desktop:~/Downloads$

So  tried

arjun at arjun-desktop:~/Downloads$ *sudo dpkg -i

Unpacking glusterfs-common (3.7.6-ubuntu1~trusty1) over (3.4.2-1ubuntu1) ...
dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of glusterfs-common:
 glusterfs-common depends on liburcu1 (>= 0.6.7); however:
  Package liburcu1 is not installed.
