Additionally,  all upgrade guides say, about a rolling upgrade, the following: 
"feel adventurous"
So, the only secure way to upgrade gluster is to bring down the whole cluster?
If rolling upgrade is supported and safe, that "warning" should be removed and rolling update should be the suggested method to use (no one wants to bring down the whole storage infrastructure to upgrade)
