[Gluster-users] root needed for getfattr ?

Hello,

a) do you need to have 'root' rights to request file attributes with 
"getfattr" on a client mounted gluster file system ?

b) was it at any time in history of gluster accesible by non-root users 
? (or was there a bug ?)


Reason for asking is that i have some users stating that it worked "some 
days" ago for "normal" users but not now anymore.
The gluster version or setup has not been changed, also no changes to 
the XFS brick file systems.
Version 3.2.5 (yep, i know it is old ...)
I couldnt find anything about getfattr rights issues in the docs.
