Hi all,

We plan to use glusterfs as the backend storage of our XenServer. We ran a benchmark test with fio today. The result is a little tricky. We noticed that the IOPS fluctuated widely, sometimes rose up to 6k, sometimes dropped down to 0. Can someone please take a look at this problem?

Below are the physical machines we used.
ProLiant DL380p Gen8 * 4
each of them has a E5-2680 DUO Core CPU and 128GB RAM
and the fio commands we use.
fio --name=writebw --filename=test1234 --rw=randwrite --bs=8k --numjobs=1 --iodepth=1 --runtime=60 --norandommap --time_based --group_reporting --size=200G

Best Regards,
Ge Jin
