Ahhh, this sounds like a candidate for the "Backport Wishlist" then:

  http://gluster.org/community/documentation/index.php/Backport_Wishlist

Anyone is allowed to add a patch to this page, that they want backported
from the development branch (git "master") to an existing release. (eg
3.4.x, 3.3.x, etc)

Do you want to add that Bugzilla ticket number to the page?
