It seems this config option is not listed at
http://download.gluster.com/pub/gluster/glusterfs/3.2/Documentation/AG/html/chap-Administration_Guide-Com_Ref.html#id568722

Is it new in 3.3, or does the documentation list only a common subset of the
available options?
