hi Stefan,
Could you provide the following outputs:
on server-1:
gluster fsm log server-2
on server-2
gluster fsm log server-1

please zip the logs in /usr/local/var/log/glusterfs on both the servers and attach them to this mail. That should help us identify the issue.

Thanks
Pranith.

Hello,

I'm currently ending up with these messages in my log + my system
doesn't get replicated:

[2010-11-30 19:52:18.134422] E
[client-handshake.c:1067:client_query_portmap_cbk] teststorage-client-7:
failed to get the port number for remote subvolume

When doing peer statuses on both nodes in the network I get:

gluster peer status
Number of Peers: 1

Hostname: 192.168.4.30
Uuid: 7cb79f60-13d8-4091-8bc6-353d5904ecb4
State: Peer in Cluster (Connected)

and

gluster peer status
Number of Peers: 1

Hostname: server1
Uuid: be0fa1dd-c182-4978-85c7-a5d0ae7daf53
State: Accepted peer request (Connected)

rpcinfo gives:

 rpcinfo -p server0
   program vers proto port
    100000 4 tcp 111 portmapper
    100000 3 tcp 111 portmapper
    100000 2 tcp 111 portmapper
    100000 4 udp 111 portmapper
    100000 3 udp 111 portmapper
    100000 2 udp 111 portmapper
    100005 3 tcp 38465 mountd
    100005 1 tcp 38466 mountd
    100003 3 tcp 38467 nfs

 rpcinfo -p server1
   program vers proto port
    100000 4 tcp 111 portmapper
    100000 3 tcp 111 portmapper
    100000 2 tcp 111 portmapper
    100000 4 udp 111 portmapper
    100000 3 udp 111 portmapper
    100000 2 udp 111 portmapper

After some attempts both of my peers went to:

Number of Peers: 1

Hostname: 192.168.4.30
Uuid: 7cb79f60-13d8-4091-8bc6-353d5904ecb4
State: Peer Rejected (Connected)

gluster peer status
Number of Peers: 1

Hostname: server1
Uuid: be0fa1dd-c182-4978-85c7-a5d0ae7daf53
State: Peer Rejected (Connected)

I don't see any documentation on the website on issues like these. Some
help is appreciated.
