Yes.  None type is known as Plain Distribute.  GlusterFS uses hash algorithm for 
Distribute in which the destination server is decided by the file name hash. 
GlusterFS 3.1 will have an option for this lookup.

Console access is available by going to virtual terminal in Alt-F2 to Alt-F6. 
Also the server is accessible by ssh.

Mirror type is Distributed mirror.  If there are four servers, distribute is on 
top of two pairs.  Each pair contains two servers.  The maximum size of the 
volume is half the size of space in total of all four servers.

Self healing is on by default and it does automatic file recovery.
