[Gluster-users] crash in __socket_ioq_new

Thanks Shehjar for the response. I did see that particular report in
Bugzilla when I was
hunting around for similar crashes. It didn't strike me as the same problem
looking at the
stack trace at least. Notice in the trace I presented, socket_event_handler
has an incoming data
ptr of 0x6 !!  This means the problem is in the interface of the socket
transport layer itself (or in a layer
before that). I don't see a similar signature in the bug you pointed to.

In any case, I'll try to apply the particular patch mentioned in that bug in
2.0.1 and report if I
 see another crash.
