Using GlusterFS doesnt always require you to make a choice between
SAN and GlusterFS. You could continue to use your existing SAN
infrastructure as the underlying storage for GlusterFS. Besides the
file-level clustering ability from GlusterFS, you'll also be able to use
the high performance provided by RAIDed SAN architectures.
