The issue is the PPA does not change and the moment a new version is
released (even minor versions), the old packages are lost forever. Even if
you go to the PPA itself, the binaries seem to be deleted there.

apt-chache showpkg glusterfs only shows the latest version available, none
of the older ones are displayed so that you can then downgrade.

I am not sure if there is another way of doing this, but I have never
managed to successfully find and install the older releases without
manually obtaining the .deb files if I can find them.
