What version of glusterfs are you using, 3.7 betas or mainline? I've heard of some problems with the logging levels recently. I'll try to find out more information.

It is returning "0", there is no error here.
From the code, it looks like a log that was supposed to be logged in "DEBUG" level
has been logged as "ERROR" by mistake.
