[Gluster-users] GlusterFS 3.6.1 available now

Hi All,

GlusterFS 3.6.1 tag was pushed to the repository last week and packages 
for Fedora, RHEL & CentOS are now available at [1].

This release has been made available to overcome some of the packaging 
problems seen with 3.6.0 [2]. 3.6.1 contains this patch in addition to 
3.6.0:

commit 1ffdf112f707a13c9fd74bbf17f99d28f84f0f0c - api: versioned symbols 
in libgfapi.so for compatibility

As the commit message explains, this fix provides compatibility for 
libgfapi so that other packages like qemu, nfs-ganesha, samba etc. need 
not be re-compiled to work with GlusterFS 3.6. More details about this 
fix is available at [3].

Please ensure that you follow the instructions in the upgrade page 
available in the wiki [4] to upgrade to 3.6.1 from 3.5.x & beyond.
