[Gluster-users] Possible to put some sort of qos/rate-limit on glusterfsd?

Ok I look forward to read something about it from you. In the meantime may you give us some other detail? Did you limit only the glusterfsd daemon? 
Doing so we can limit the replica process but NOT the access to the volume from clients?

Quick update, I've successfully got glusterfs running with cgroups and I'm very impressed with the results. 

I'll write something up in the coming days - thanks again for the suggestion.

Just for confirmation - am I right in saying glusterd is just the management daemon? and glusterfsd is the actual process which does the checksums, replication, healing etc?
